 A bit about the Society

We aim to collect, collate and disseminate ALL information concerning the surname BUNTING and its variants from all sources worldwide. The Bunting Society was started at an informal gathering on 23rd September 1989 at Alpheton Village Hall in Suffolk, England. Sixteen people interested in the name BUNTING met as a result of a letter in the East Anglian Daily Times written by Christine Grayson-Toms. Since then our membership has grown steadily.

 

Membership is open to all who have a genuine interest in the name BUNTING and its variants.

Gone A-Hunting

"Gone A-Hunting" - the official journal of the Bunting Society - is published twice-yearly - Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter.

 The Annual Gathering

An Annual Gathering is held in South-East England every Autumn for all those interested in the name BUNTING and its variants. Members and their families are welcome to attend on that day.
