What is this?

Here is a collection of quarter peal compositions, specially selected for being either particularly musical or just great fun to call. They are mainly of Surprise Major, but also some Grandsire & Stedman too. Most of these compositions are original (i.e. not published before) and the composer or source of the composition is given if known.

Why is it special?

What makes this collection of compositions unique is that the code for Prove (or MicroSiril) is additionally available here (just a mouse-click away) for most compositions and a Music Analysis is also given. Having the Prove/MicroSiril code available (simply copy it from your browser window and paste it into a text file) means you can easily change and re-prove the composition as you wish, without having to input the composition first.

As with any collection of compositions, it is always recommended to carefully check a composition before ringing it!
