For Heroes Charity Gig.
Stairway
are doing a 1 hour slot at the above event and if any of you can get
there it would be brilliant for the Charity. We will be doing a set
of covers plus some material from Stairway albums.

the tracks are now mixed and are winging their way off to be mastered.

we have a definate release date we will let you all know and set up
a pre-order line for the new album -until next time........

We
are now into the mixing stage with the new album - getting to sound
quite splendid!!

Pete
has now finished all his lead guitar parts; there are just a few
vocal tracks to complete and then we will be getting on to mixing the
tracks - hopefully we can get something started in the run up to
Christmas, and continue in the new year.

Some
of you have asked if you will be able to pre-order the new CD before
it's official release.
The
answer to this is 'Yes'.
A
month or so before the official release date, a pre-order line will
be set up in the Stairway Store with details on how to order your
copy - each copy pre-ordered through the Stairway
Store will be personally signed by the band.

Recording News
All
the bass tracks are now finished.
We
are moving on to Pete's lead guitar work; finished a couple of
tracks and we are scheduled to continue on for the rest of this week;
sounding great so far! - We will post some photos of the sessions
when we have them.
October
22nd
We're
getting on well with the new recordings.
These
passed two days we have done most of the bass parts, just a couple
left to do; we're scheduled to finish them off next week - sounding
good thus far!
Take
another look at the album poll on the left, we have added an option
for vinyl. It's a
format option we are looking at, but as an extremely limited edition
option of around 300 copies. Stairway albums have NEVER before been
released on vinyl; possible likely cost around £17.00 to
£20.00 a copy.

We
have now completed all the drum tracks and Andy has gone for a long
lie down! ;0)
Now
getting on with the bass parts; done the first few tracks and
sounding good - We are really pleased with how the album is shaping
up, and hoping to finish the bass parts during the course of this
week. :0)

finished the 2nd drum session - sounding really great, Andy is on a
roll, one more to come and that will be the drums done!

New
Recording!
After
a very uneasy and upsetting period over the past few months due to
illness, we are happy to tell you all that we have now returned to
recording the new Stairway album which we started at the beginning of
this year.
All
the rhythm guitars tracks and the harmony vocal tracks were done
earlier in the year; Andy has started the drums tracks and has
completed the first 4 songs.
1st
session
We
have scheduled some more sessions and hope to complete all the drum
tracks in the next week or so. This will leave us to
concentrate on Pete’s lead solos etc, which we hope to get on to
in the next few weeks.
We
shall post updates with photos here on the Official Stairway
Website, and also on our Myspace
and Facebook
pages, so be sure to check ‘em out!
