ADVERT PAGES CIRCULATION = 1,600 = 800 to Members as Folk West + 800 to non-Members as Folk West's ads-only pages.

ADVERT PRICES

Quality of reproduction pretty good - we charge accordingly. Smaller clubs don’t need big ads; and concert & festival artwork & photos come out well.

NOTE

Joining Folklife West costs £13 (for 1-5 copies per issue; more @ £3 per 5 = £16 for 6-10, £19 for 11-15).

Non-Members pay £3 more for adverts.

Membership also includes Directories as well as Folk West, up to 5 free 1-line listings, and detailed Directories' entries.

DISCOUNTS

Prepaid only, for 2, 3, 4 issues = saves 5%, 10%, 15% off 1-off cost.

File formats

* by email, disc, CD, 100 mb Zip, for Apple Mac compatible: tif, eps, jpeg; PageMaker 6.5; & by arrangement, Quark.

By arrangement: Quark (only readable at our printers).

* Microsoft Word .... 2. below is better, it's not really suitable.

* At actual size to be printed. Try a print out before you send please!

* Black and white unless 1-colour / full-colour ads - we're not on broadband.

* Not compressed please.

* Paper copy as backup to scan please, black & white, no greys, matt not gloss.

Email/post a logo, and then email/post text for us to typeset (this is what most regular folk club advertisers do).

Free typing from handwritten or typed up to 50 words; more is chargeable.

PREPAID ADS PREFERRED

Please send a cheque by the deadline 1 Dec, 1 Mar, 1 Jun, 1 Sep [15 Sep this issue only], with posted advert, or post cheque when you email advert. We’ll print a receipt if requested.

INVOICED / LATE ADS COST £3 MORE.

This includes if we phone regular advertisers who forgot the deadline!

FOLK WEST quarterly includes:-- adverts, 1-line summaries from our 4 Directories, Members' news, Doc Rowe's local celebrations photos & listings, and we hope to expand (articles, reviews, etc) once established.
