About
this website:
An atlas of blood and bone marrow morphology is usually to be found
on the shelves of departmental libraries. Nowadays this may be a book,
a CD, or both, and there are also web sites which serve for purposes
of reference. This site is not meant to compete with any of these, but
presents images and data for the sole purpose of private study. I hope
you will find that the material presented is interesting, whether you
are a medical laboratory scientific officer or a clinical haematologist
in training. I suggest you keep a pencil and paper to hand, and write
down your opinions before you reveal the answers. Make your own decisions,
then review them in the light of the commentaries. You will gain more
from this approach than by casually browsing through what is presented.
