The photomicrograph shows
blast cells which vary somewhat in size but are relatively large. Their
agranular cytoplasm is easily discerned, and their nuclei show multiple
nucleoli. They were typed and found to carry T-cell markers, in keeping
with the L2 morphology.

over six weeks, pyrexial on admission to hospital.
Hb = 5.9 g/dl., white cells 18.0 x109/l., platelets
35 x109/l. Examine the photomicrograph of the patient's
blood film noting your findings and conclusions.
