Emotional freedom therapy
Instead of treating meridian acupuncture points using needles, Emotional Freedom Therapy uses a small number of specific points and these are tapped by fingers in conjunction with thinking about a painful issue or memory and verbalising the situation.
This can result in a very easy and quick release of emotional blocks and some examples of the conditions which can be helped are lack of confidence, low self-esteem, panic attacks, feelings of anger, fears and phobias such as fear of heights, insects, animals, public speaking, flying, public speaking , intimidating situations such as interviews, etc.

can also gain release from past traumas of grief, painful relationships, abuse, etc. and assist in overcoming addictions to alcohol, smoking, over-eating etc.
In a nutshell, any trauma which has been experienced can create an energy imbalance which can lodge in the body. This trauma can set in motion various hormonal, physiological, chemical and neurological changes resulting in the experience of a negative emotion which in turn can be experienced as depression, fears or addictive behaviour. By tapping specific meridian points this imbalance is corrected and emotional freedom from that trauma can be achieved.
The length of time for treatment is approximately one hour. Many issues can be successfully dealt with in two to three sessions. However, problems with addictions can take many weeks to treat.
