Take the Perth to
Crief road, A85
, approximately 20 miles. Continue through
Crief
and then Comrie for a further
18 miles to the beginning of the Loch at
St Fillons.
The A85 carries on passed the
loch and ends up at at Oban.

Stretching from St Fillans to
Lochearnhead the loch is about 7 miles long,
not one of the largest compared to some lochs in
Scotland, such as
Loch Tay.
Nevertheless, it is extremely scenic, surrounded by mountains, and
makes an excellent holiday resort.
The loch caters for fishing and, of course, water sports plus walking persuits.
Or you could have a more restful time and glory in the sights about you whilst watching those more energetic tire themselves out.
I know that whatever your inclinations are you will love it at Loch Earn.
