DR WHO
Dr Who, and in particular, the Daleks, have become kitsch icons. However the series never equalled the outrageous technicolor kitsch overtones of the two film productions, based on two actual BBC broadcasted stories. John Nathan-Turner had a good go at it though, with the introduction of K9, Bonnie Langford and some truly shockingly horrendous costumes. Poor Dr Who was to prove no match against such a cruel adversary in the shape of this producer.
