This patent application specifies a way of removing the finest of the dust particles from vacuuming systems using a water vapour entrapment design. All the finest particles that are theoretically responsible for respiratory irritation are trapped and removed by this system. The environment creates a saturated water vapour environment via which all the dust particles have to move through before the air volume passing through the machine can escape into the environment.

Further developments using Computer Fluid Dynamic Analyses confirms that all particles impacting on the surface of the liquid layer, penetrate the surface tension to be trapped within the liquid.

The technology is particularly suited to commercial cleaners, street cleaning vehicles, industrial scrubbers and the like.
